Currently, I'm working on the 2023 Advent of Code in my attempt to learn the Rust programming language.
To learn new skills and play with fun tools, I have worked on a variety of personal side-projects including
- building a web API, web interface, and SwiftBar plugin for tracking my coffee consumption,
- a comparison of ML methods for summarizing scientific articles,
- experimenting with and packaging the 'tumoroscope' model in PyMC (a probabilistic programming language in Python for building Bayesian models and performing MCMC),
- and a R package 'mustashe' for intelligently caching computed results.
I've also made small contributions to other projects such as snakemake and the Fig autocomplete repository.
- Favorite apps on my Mac
- Quickstart for playing with LLMs locally
- Favorite books of 2023
- Build and push a Rust project to Deta on GitHub Actions
- Leveraging generic type hints of classes in Python
All of my blog posts can be found here.
