After the outbreak of Korean War on 25 June 1950, sixteen countries provided combat troops for South Korea, forming the United Nations Forces.[1] In order of arrival/deployment, these were the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Netherlands, Canada, France, New Zealand, Philippines, Turkey, Thailand, South Africa, Greece, Belgium, Luxembourg, Ethiopia and Colombia.
