Rutilus lacustris, the Pontic loach or Aral roach, is a species of freshwater ray-finned fish belonging to the family Leuciscidae, which includes the daces, Eurasian minnows and related fishes. This species occurs across Eurasia from Eastern Europe to Siberia.[2]
