Louisiana Amendment 1, the No Right to Abortion in Constitution Amendment of 2020, passed with a yes vote of 62.06%. It explicitly adds language that denies a person's right to abortion . It adds the following language to the state constitution:[ 6]
nothing in this constitution shall be construed to secure or protect a right to abortion or require the funding of abortion.
